Nursing Content ExamsThe HESI battery, and other standardized tests, are a well-established way to gather strong evidence on student competencies. This information can be very useful in demonstrating the achievements of individual students as well as aggregate program performance. PASS-PORT can ingest data from standardized tests and associate the scores to your students’ records. Used with our unique “unit assessment” process – for college-wide student evaluation – exam scores can be used as success indicators, helping identify marginal students in need of remediation.
PASS-PORT for Business

Originally designed to help Colleges and Schools of Education collect and aggregate a wide variety of data types to assist with their NCATE and SPA accreditation processes, PASS-PORT has continued to develop features that are uniquely suited to the assessment of pre-service teacher candidates.PASS-PORT is designed to assist teacher education programs meet the ultimate goal of preparing candidates to become quality teachers who provide the best education possible for students in their classrooms.

With PASS-PORT, you will be able to move through The College of Education assessment system and provide valuable information for the University. PASS-PORT will enable you to create electronic portfolios that will contain your lesson plans and other valuable resources that will be used in your classroom, or other areas for assessment purposes. In addition, these resources can also be exported to a CD format that can be taken to job interviews to show evidence of your exemplary performance. The technology experience you will receive from using Pass-Port, will stay with you as you move forward in your education career, and also familiarize you with working with technical software you may encounter in your future endeavors.
The College of Education will also benefit from your use of PASS-PORT. Your work, combined with work from other students, enables professors to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the College’s degree programs and make improvements. The data you provide within this type of technical format is highly valued by NCATE (the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education) and other accrediting bodies.
